i watched ride your wave today and nearly cried, which brings my total tally of "movies i almost cried at" to three. the only thing in common between all three movies is that someone dies/almost dies, so i don't know what to make of that? i also had the realization that most of my faves are the dark edgy characters, which i also don't know what to think about. but its kinda funny.

christmas was todayy! i kinda actually played on my playstation for a few hrs after hanging out w my family in the morning. my dad made breakfast and then we opened presents. a christmas story was playing in the background and then played again on the tv??? it's much funnier to watch on mute imo. i could tell the kids were saying "i double dog dare you" anywho i'm here to talk about what i got for christmas >:) my parents got my siblings and i a sm64 lego set to share (the big question block), i got a new apple watch unexpectedly, and i got the snoopy letterman jacket i've been searching for! i got some other things but those are most notable. i also got some really cool art from milo in neomet turning cake into a splatoon character! i'll put it on here later + i'm done talking now becausee it is 4am

we also had a secret santa btwn e-sports friends earlier in the day, and exchanged some really cool stuff! my teacher was running modded mkwii with item rain on in the front of the classroom and my friends held a ultimate trans vote in the back and the one person who wasn't trans (my bf) won so that's a little funny. christmas break starts in a day which means i'm getting closer to the sonic symphony concert! my family is also moving again though, so we have to do some prep for that as well. i'm excited for the move because i'll be 15 mins from my favorite restaurant!

WE LOST THE SPLATOON ESPORTS SEMI-FINALS DUE TO CHEESE MAPS. i'm actually so pissed abt this bc we would've won. an undefeated season lost to turf war (where nothing matters until the last 30 secs), indefensible ramps on clam blitz wahoo world, and mako mart splat zones so now we have to win spring season and redo team comps. lots of practice on stupid unfun maps as well now ig. i do not feel like playing splatoon for a few days. i think i will try and relearn charger bc i remember being good at it in splatoon 1? so maybe it's worth picking back up for ranked. i'll probably also work on my n'zap '85 and dualie squelcher strategies, because i'm pretty consistently a golden aerospray user for everything but clam blitz. it usually works out well for our current team comp but it's good practice to have some backups??
