Amphibia is a lilypad-shaped continent that is inhabited by sentient amphibians and oversized wildlife similar to the ones on Earth. It is inferred that the size of wildlife in Amphibia is so big because the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere is higher than that of Earth’s. Much of the continent is a rural marshland, but there are many other biomes such as snowy mountains and jungles. As of “The Hardest Thing”(S3 EP18),there has been a new continent discovered behind Amphibia. It presumably rose to the surface because of the low water levels due to the destruction of the moon.
In Amphibia the Frogs, Newts, and Toads operate under a caste system, similar to the feudal system of government used in medieval Europe. This hierarchy places Newts at the top as monarchs and scholars, Toads as a militant/enforcer class, and Frogs at the bottom as farmers and peasants. The Olms are living underground and have practiced isolationism for thousands of years.
